Once upon a time there lived a close knit community of Koalas. They shared a peaceful existence in pristine Australian bushland. They called this bushland their home and named it Koala Town. It was a wonderful place where everyone was welcome and everyone was treated with respect. Koala Town evolved over many years, under the watchful eye and mentoring of an old Koala named Nestor.
That was until a new housing estate threatened to eat up bushland not too far from Koala Town …

About the author
KEVIN COLLISTER is one of Australia’s foremost experts on managing physical and non-physical aggression and a recognised authority on defensive tactics. As director of Totally Proactive Pty Ltd, Kevin is in high demand as a presenter and educator in conflict management, client interaction and defensive tactics training for government and private sector personnel.

Kevin’s extensive experience includes military service, Victorian Corrective Services, being a dog handler and member of the Security and Emergency Services Group, a prison emergency response unit with state-wide responsibilities dealing with some of Australia’s most dangerous criminals at times of greatest risk. He has worked as a crowd controller and security supervisor as well as caring for troubled children within community housing facilities. Drug searches, high security escorts, escapes and riots are all part of Kevin’s experience. His clients now include government departments, corporate companies, and small to medium businesses and not for profit agencies across Australia.
